Boston Bound

It's nearly 6am in the Medford airport and I wish that I could fall asleep as easily as Randal does! We are headed to Boston for a week and I am so ready. We'll play and explore for the first half and the second half, I will attend an obesity medicine conference. I'm excited!

Work has been going so well, but as per usual, it's busy! We're about to induct our third cohort and the first two continue to show success with weigh loss. And talk is increasing about contracting with insurers, so I think that working with community members is closer than we had previously thought.

The Blue Zones assessment continues and that is also looking good. It is such a big deal for Klamath and so stinking exciting!

And regular life in Klamath is great too. We have planted vegetables in our front yard this year and it's the talk of the neighborhood. The bathroom remodel is nearly done and I have been taking showers in our gorgeous shower. I love it oh so much. We camped and hiked near Crater Lake last weekend and it was so great to escape for a bit.

And I'm in my last week of the second trimester! All is well; Skeletor is kicking, which is so cool; I passed my oral glucose test (whew!). My doctor told me to stop biking now, so I've packed my sweet little commuter away for the time being, but will continue to walk to work.

And now I'll sign off as I get ready to board soon to begin our last "vacation" without a kid!
