I suppose it’s time to restart this blog- if only to document our upcoming trip. Five world travelers left Bloomington today to begin a trip to Italy! There was a lot of enthusiasm, a lot of poop jokes, and a lot of worry about checking into flights and hotels. But, never fear. We are all checked in and awaiting our flight to Atlanta- where we will then change planes and catch out plane to Italy. I have tried to talk to the kids about the need to sleep on the plane rather than watching tv and was met with (insanely irrational) tears, so the next 24 hours are bound to be interesting. Mom is entertaining the kids (hooray!), I have a New Yorker on my lap (hooray!), and randal is finishing his work day (boo.). Buon viaggio!
