It was a nice end to a slow weekend. Randal has a cold, so we ended up staying in all weekend, but I did close it out with a beautiful hike this evening.
This was one of the first hikes that Stephanie and I did when we arrived and we did it together a few times. I thought of her tonight on this 12th of the month. I can’t believe it’s been 10 months since she died. She is still so vibrant and close in Randal and my hearts and minds.
She would have enjoyed the dogs tonight too. They looked awfully regal in the fading light. Or as regal as two silly mutts can.
